KRAFFT FOAL

A feed specially tailored for foals and young horses. It ensures the intake of quality protein and adds a balanced amount of vitamins and minerals. Contains a high level of protein.

Composition: oat bran, wheat bran, lucerne (alfalfa), oats, wheat, potato protein, pressed beet pulp, beet molasses, calcium carbonate, monocalcium phosphate, crude vegetable oil from rapeseed, sodium chloride.

Analytical constituents: Dry matter 88%, crude protein 16%, digestible crude protein 135 g/kg, crude fibre 13%, crude oils and fats 4%, crude ash 9%, lysine 9 g/kg, starch 14%, sugars 6%, Ca 1.6%, P 0.7%, Mg 0.4%, Na 0.3%, K 0.9%.

Feeding instructions: The appropriate ration should be determined based on the nutritional value of the roughage, the horse’s age, size and activity level. For horses with an expected adult weight of 500 kg, the guideline amount is 1–2 kg of concentrate per day during the first 3–6 months, and 1–3 kg of concentrate per day from 6 months up to 2 years of age. Young horses should always have unlimited access to roughage. For best results, the concentrate ration should be divided into several meals during the day. Small amounts of concentrate feed may need to be supplemented with mineral feed.
