BONEKARE CONTAINS PATENTED VITAMIN KQ® TO INCREASE BONE DENSITY AND REDUCE BONE DEFECTS. Vitamin KQ® is a stable, bioavailable form of Vitamin K1 that activates the horse‘s na tural production of Vitamin K2, which is an important component of bone metabolism.

WHY YOU SHOULD FEED BONEKARE:

Horses that come from a Vitamin K1 rich pasture to the stable showed a reduction in bone density within 7 - 10 days. Therefore, feeding BONEKARE® provides greater assurance that horses will not develop radiological changes. This is especially important for horses kept in stables and without constant access to fresh pasture grass (Vitamin K).

·         Developmental orthopedic diseases - this includes all abnormalities of bone and cartilage growth

·         Osteochondrosis - bone and cartilage disease

·         Dorsal Metacarpal Disease (DMD) - disease of the third metacarpal bone

·         BoneKare® can help rebuild the affected area after arthroscopic surgery or other orthopedic procedures

·         Although the bone regeneration process is significantly reduced in an adult horse, administering BoneKare® may be able to slow or even prevent the progression of bone disease in an older horse.
