PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Complementary feed for horses Plus Protein provides protein in a combination with fat, fibre, vitamins and minerals in balanced proportions. Contains a high level of protein.

Can be used for normal horses as the only concentrate feed, as the horse's needs are covered by a relatively small feed, or for horses with higher energy needs in combination with grain.
Always give your horse access to forage before feeding it concentrate feed and try to spread its concentrate feeds evenly throughout the day.

A suitable feed should be based on the nutritional value of the forage feed, level of performance and growth and whether it is pregnant, lactating or growing.

FEEDING GUIDE

As a guideline, feed an adult horse approx. 0.1kg PLUS Protein/100kg horse (in light work) to 0.2kg PLUSS Protein/100kg horse (in medium/hard work), and at least 1.5 kg of dry forage per 100 kg of horse. Distribute the rations of concentrates over several feeds per day for the best results. Always give forage before concentrates.
